I started making jewelry in a rather roundabout way. I grew up in a creative family, surrounded by painters, quilters and woodworkers who used their creative talents to change their worlds. I knew I was creative, but I could not find my outlet. After graduating from college, with a degree in Archaeology (!), I moved to Washington DC for a job. While commuting to work, I noticed a bead store and thought I'd give it a go. I was hooked! What started as a hobby, a way to escape hectic city life, has become so much more. Designing and handcrafting jewelry has become my passion, and I can't imagine my life without it. I hope you enjoy my work, my creative outlet.
